About Lido Peninsula

Lido Peninsula is a community in the West Newport Lido Isle in Newport Beach. This California neighborhood has spectacular views and a wide variety of homes. Situated next to the Newport Bay, it is considered to be in one of the best locations in the area.

Lido Peninsula is made up of several different neighborhoods, where you’ll find an array of custom built estates, condominium complexes, and upscale mobile homes. Prices here are lower than other areas of the city but residents must also pay a monthly land lease that varies according to the location and land. These arrangements result in lower taxes and often include the Home Owners Association dues.

Lido Peninsula is near the Lido Peninsula Resort on Lido Park Drive as well as many restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Fashion Island features upscale open-air shopping with stores like Brooks Brothers, Whole Foods, and Bloomingdales. The Newport Shopping Center offers many services like Happy Nails & Spa, Living Fitness, Newport Ridge Cleaners, Ocean Hills Dentistry, and Wells Fargo Bank.

The beaches are close and there are many water activities like fishing, swimming, standup paddle boarding, Ski Doo riding, and parasailing. You can even take a whale watching trip or rent an inflatable adventure boat. Upper Newport Bay offers hiking, exploring, bird watching, and canoeing.

Newport Beach offers many venues and activities including the Balboa Island Ferry, the Newport Center, The Wedge, the Newport Beach Boat Show, the Orange County Museum of Art, and the Beer Can Races,

Children in the Lido Peninsula attend highly ranked facilities like Newport Elementary School, Horace Ensign Intermediate, and Newport Harbor High School of The Newport Mesa Unified School District. There are also several private schools in Newport Beach such as Our Lady Queen of Angels and St. Andrews Presbyterian Preschool.
